If you’re a homeowner, home and garden shows offer a great opportunity to gain inspiration for future ideas for your house. Pennsylvania residents have a lot of useful shows and expos to choose from that can benefit their home in a variety of ways.

Below are a list of some Pennsylvania home shows to check out if you’re looking for home ideas or if you’re just looking to have a fun day out.

Central PA Home and Garden Show

The Central PA Home and Garden Show is the largest home improvement and product showcases in central Pennsylvania. The show is produced by the Builders Association of Central PA and features events and demonstrations for adults with a few activities for children as well. The 2018 installment of the show will be the 34th annual event, and will take place at Penn State University’s Bryce Jordan Center.

The Butler County Home Show

Location: Family Sports Center – Butler, PA

The Butler County Home Show is one of western Pennsylvania’s most prominent home improvement expos. The 2018 show will feature home remodeler Andy Amrhein and gardener Doug Oster as the event’s special guests. The Butler County Home Show is the only home show on this list to have both free admission and parking.

The NEPA Home and Garden Show

The next NEPA Home and Garden Show will be held in April 2018, with two celebrity guests scheduled for the 17th annual show. Home tech guru Boyce Thompson and HGTV host Harry Rinker will be in attendance, and Rinker will be offering free appraisals on collectible items or antiques if visitors bring two or more.

The Philly Home Show

Dates: January 11-14 and 18-20, 2019

Location: Pennsylvania Convention Center – Philadelphia, PA

The Philly Home Show features a variety of sessions and workshops for a cheap price. The show also hosts keynote speakers and home improvement celebrities to give you tips and techniques about your home. The show has even featured representatives from the National Association of Productivity & Organizing who held closet-cleaning competitions between visitors. The Philly Home Show is definitely something to check out if you’re in the area.

Philly Home & Garden Show

Dates: February 15-17, 2019

Location: Greater Philadelphia Expo Center – Oaks, PA

The Philly Home & Garden Show is similar to its home show-only cousin, but features more sessions and vendors about gardening. If you’re looking for an expo that features more workshops on landscaping and outdoor projects for your property, the Philly Home & Garden Show is likely a better option to attend.

Trade shows are always great experiences to attend, but ones pertaining to homes and living space seem to hold a more personal touch, as homeowners gain insight and ideas for how they would like to transform their own homes. More than anything, home shows are fun and offer opportunities to get out and join other homeowners and professionals to make your home the place you want it to be.
