This small and outdated bathroom received a major overhaul. The existing fiberglass shower was removed and replaced with a curbless tile shower system. The walk-in closet was removed to make way for the new whirlpool and water closet room. All plumbing was completely gutted and reconfigured for the new layout.
The tile work consisted of a grey and white subway tile with a mosaic feature for the shower. All other walls in the bathroom received white subway tile with a tile chair rail and a 6″x6″ baseboard. The floor received a light marble, which flowed right into the pitched shower pan. Heated floors were put beneath the marble for a cozy warm feel when entering the bathroom.
The tile shower features a glass wall, a custom seat and easy accessibility. Two ultra quiet remote bath fans were added to remove moisture from the bathroom, and a recessed light/bath fan was added to the water closet room. All fans are on Decora timers to ensure proper ventilation after bathroom use. All fixtures are Delta stainless steel.
